Panning Trough was a group project using Rachel Kaminer’s poem as our zine subject. The poem is a poem about a girl named Rachel and her childhood life. It surrounds her curiosity and creativity as a little girl who constantly imagines and explores her surroundings. This led us to develop this zine’s concept of creative exploration. Troposphere is the very first layer above the Earth's surface and contains around half of the Earth's atmosphere. Stratosphere, the stable layer comes next and is followed by the mesosphere housing meteors and rock fragments. Thermosphere comes fourth, above which lies the last atmospheric layer, ionosphere. It is a very thin layer that meets outer space through the exosphere.
The purpose was to make a interesting about the layers of the atmosphere. This poster was to show all the areas of the atmosphere in a fun way.
